CHARLES MICAH MARRS, 22, of Kalkaska, died Monday, July 24, 2000, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. A parts clerk, he was born Nov. 4, 1977, in Midland.
      Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at New Life Assembly in Kalkaska. Burial will be in Oliver Township Cemetery.
     
      HEATHER GRAHAM ZEITS, 56, of Lake Leelanau, died Tuesday, July 25, 2000, in Canton.
      Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Martinson Funeral Home in Suttons Bay. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Suttons Bay. A full obituary will appear in Friday's Record-Eagle.
      Lloyd R. Burns
      Died July 25, 2000
      CENTRAL LAKE - Lloyd R. Burns, 79, of Central Lake, died Tuesday at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
      Lloyd was born Aug. 13, 1920, in Echo Township, the son of Russell and Mable (Cornett) Burns.
      He was a longtime member of the Grace Community Church in Central Lake. He retired in 1985 from the Gulf and Western Corporation in East Jordan after working there for over 30 years.
      Lloyd was an avid supporter of athletics and music for the Central Lake Public Schools, was well known for his collection of hand carved, scaled farm equipment, and for his love of playing several string instruments in various bands and groups. He belonged to the Old Time Fiddlers Association, the Buckley Old Engine Show and the Grand Old Opry Fan Club.
      On April 18, 1953, in Burr Oak, he married Ella M. Fisher, who survives. Also surviving are four children, Sharon (Patrick) Schweihofer of St. Clair; Allan (Susie) Burns of Bellaire; Penny Burns of Grand Rapids; Donald (Denise) Burns of Rapid City; six grandchildren, Alice and Sarah Schweihofer, Katie, Dillon and Paige Burns, Yolanda (Randy) Sarten; and great-grandson, Jordan Sarten; his former daughter-in-law, Elizabeth (Kenneth) VanHouten of Central Lake; two brothers, Doyle "Barney" (Barbara) Burns and Versile "Buck" (Jean) Burns - both of Echo Township; and many nieces and nephews.
      The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today and Friday at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Grace Community Church with the Rev. Estel Clark officiating. Interment will be in Southern Cemetery in Central Lake Township.
      Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
