ROBERT EDWARD ALLOR, 67, of Mancelona, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2000, at his home.
      The family will receive friends from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Czopek Funeral Home in Wyandotte, where a rosary will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Local arrangements by Penzien Funeral Homes, Inc. of Mancelona.
     
      BILLY D. JACKSON, 46, of Kalkaska, died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2000, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. He was born Sept. 6, 1954, in Florence, Ala.
      Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bear Lake Christian Church in Kalkaska, where visitation will be at the time of service. Arrangements are being handled by Wolfe Funeral Home of Kalkaska.
     
      IRMA E. MARTIN, 82, of Freesoil, died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2000, at her home. She was born March 5, 1918 in Beaver Township.
      Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at The Herbert Funeral Home in Manistee. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Manistee, where visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Freesoil.
     
      EFFA L. MAUE, 76, of Norwalk, died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2000, at West Shore Medical Center in Manistee.
      Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at The Herbert Funeral Home in Manistee. A Mass from the Order of Christian Funerals will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Onekama..
      Marie H. Hubbell
      Died November 22, 2000
      TRAVERSE CITY - Marie H. Hubbell, 83, a lifelong resident of Traverse City, died Wednesday.
      Born March 19, 1917, in Traverse City, she was the daughter of Frank J. Ducheney and Helen (Denoyer) Ducheney Winowiecki. On April 3, 1937, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Traverse City, she married John Arthur Hubbell, Sr.
      A devote Catholic, she was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed knitting, bingo and playing cards.
      She is survived by two daughters, Mary E. (Edward) Flees of Traverse City and Pamela T. Teixeira of Cincinnati, Ohio; one son, David M. (Melissa) Hubbell of Traverse City; four sisters, Olive Snyder, Betty Lardie, Theresa (Rod) Wood and Margaret (Melvin) Belanger - all of Traverse City; one brother, Kenneth (Patsy) Ducheney of Traverse City; nine stepbrothers and stepsisters; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
      She was preceded in death by her husband, John Arthur, Sr. in 1971; her son, John "Jack" Arthur Hubbell, Jr. in 1979; a sister, Lucille Kelly; two brothers, Arthur and Earl Ducheney; and four grandchildren.
      Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Traverse City Chapel of Covell Funeral Homes, where a rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Catholic Church with Rev. William Lipscomb serving as celebrant. Interment will be at Oakwood Catholic Diocesan Cemetery.
      Memorial contributions may be made to Mass intentions or the Carmelite Monastery.
     
      Josephine Knapik
      Died November 22, 2000
      BENZONIA - Josephine Knapik, 85, of Benzonia, died Wednesday at Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital.
      Josephine was born Dec. 18, 1914, in Philadelphia, Pa., the daughter of Joseph and Marianna (Mahala) Larvaski. Josephine married Michael Knapik in Chicago on April 19, 1946. They later moved to Benzonia in 1954.
      Josephine was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Frankfort and served honorably in the U.S. Army during World War II. She also worked for Jenks Machine Shop and was a member of the Frankfort American Legion Post No. 221.
      Josephine is survived by her husband Michael and many close friends.
      A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, from St. Ann Catholic Church, where friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Father James Bearss will serve as celebrant.
      Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
      Arrangements have been entrusted to the Benzonia Chapel of McElduff Funeral Homes.
      Geraldine Carlisle Lockwood
      Died November 18, 2000
      INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Geraldine Carlisle Lockwood, 74, of Indianapolis, Ind., died Saturday.
      Born Jan 5, 1926, in Goshen, Ind., she was the daughter of Rogers W. and Josephine Anna (Carlsson) Carlisle.
      A homemaker, Geraldine was also a past member of the AARP, Job's Daughter and Riley Childrens Hospital.
      Survivors include her children, Sharon Orebaugh of Anderson, Ind. and Bruce Lockwood of Indianapolis, Ind.; a sister, Beverly (Bill) Brewer of Remus; grandchildren, Jennifer Orebaugh and Carlyn Strangeway - both of Anderson, Ind., Brian Orebaugh of Daleville, Ind., Jennifer Hetherington of Traverse City and Matthew Hetherington of Chicago; and five great-grandchildren.
      She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Gerald L. Lockwood.
      Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Covell-Smith Funeral Home in Kingsley. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
