GENEVIEVE H. (JADOS) JALOSZYNSKI, 77, of Flint, formerly of Stronach, died Monday, Nov. 27, 2000, at Grand Blanc. She was born June 20, 1923, in Dearborn.
      Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at The Herbert Funeral Home in Manistee, where a rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m. and an evening prayer will be held at 8:30 p.m. A Mass from the Order of Christian Funerals will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Manistee. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Manistee.
     
      DOROTHY T. ZAWACKI, 85, of Manistee, died Monday, Nov. 27, 2000, at The Manistee County Medical Care Facility.
      Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at The Herbert Funeral Home in Manistee. A Mass from the Order of Christian Funerals will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Manistee.
      Clara B. Bannon
      Died November 27, 2000
      TRAVERSE CITY - Clara B. Bannon, 90, of Traverse City, died Monday at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
      Born March 4, 1910, in the village of Wexford, she was the daughter of Bert N. and Emma K. (Younglas) Lemcool and had lived in the Traverse City area most of her life.
      On Aug. 5, 1933, in Traverse City, she married Vernon P. "Bun" Ghastin, who preceded her in death on Sept. 18, 1943. On June 21, 1945, in Traverse City, she married Earl M. Bannon, who preceded her in death on March 1, 1978.
      Clara enjoyed oil painting, sewing, gardening, bowling and travel. She was a longtime member of the Grand Traverse Art Center and had sold many of her paintings. As a member of the American Tour Club, Clara traveled extensively throughout the United States. She was also a member of the Silver Belles bowling team, past Noble Grand of Wisteria Lodge No. 423 and past president of Eagles Auxiliary No. 383.
      Survivors include her daughters, Jeanne Ghastin and Suzanne (Tom) Cook of Traverse City; a son, Richard (Rita) Bannon of Indianapolis, Ind.; a stepson, Tracy Bannon; a sister, Christine Sherk; and two brothers, Herbert (Jo) Lemcool, Sr. and Carl (Wilma) Lemcool - all of Traverse City; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
      In addition to her husbands, Clara was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, David Ghastin and Phillip Ghastin; a stepdaughter, Esther Hurlbut; and two granddaughters, Deborah Graham and Katrina McClellan.
      Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Traverse City Chapel of Covell Funeral Homes, where visitation will be from noon until the time of service, Pastor Louis Grettenberger will officiate. Interment will be at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
      Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
     
      Gloria Cozart
      Died November 26, 2000
      SAN JACINTO, Calif. - Gloria Cozart, 68, of San Jacinto, Calif., formerly of Traverse City, died Sunday at Hemet Valley Medical Center due to complications of rheumatoid arthritis.
      Gloria was born April 20, 1932, in Hemet, Calif. She served in the U.S. Air Force from January 1951 to December 1953 and was a homemaker for 47 years. She was also a partner with her husband, Bruce, in Cozart Construction.
      Gloria was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Blessed Katerie Circle. She enjoyed sewing and was an excellent seamstress. She also enjoyed being in charge of things.
      Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Bruce Cozart of San Jacinto; two daughters, Stacia Briones of Soboba Indian Reservation and Camille Cozart of Hemet; a son, Scott Cozart of Soboba Indian Reservation; three brothers, Bernardino Castello, Charles Castello and Gabriel Castello - all of Soboba Indian Reservation; two sisters, Emily Castello of San Jacinto and Charlene Castello of Soboba Indian Reservation; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her care giver for five years, Rochelle Loman of San Jacinto.
      Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Harford Funeral Home Chapel, 120 N. Buena Vista St., Hemet, CA, where a rosary will be held at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Soboba Indian Reservation, San Jacinto, Calif. Burial will follow at Soboba Indian Reservation, San Jacinto, Calif.
      Wilma J. Ingersoll
      Died November 27, 2000
      KALKASKA - Wilma J. Ingersoll, 77, of Kalkaska, died Monday at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center Long Term Care.
      Mrs. Ingersoll had been a lifelong resident of Kalkaska and was a 1942 graduate of Kalkaska High School. She formerly worked in the Kroger Store, and was a member of the Kalkaska Church of Christ. She enjoyed her church and her family.
      Born in Kalkaska on Nov. 9, 1923, she was the daughter of William and Lina (VanBibber) Hollis. On Nov. 28, 1942, in South Boardman, she married William Ingersoll, who preceded her in death on April 12, 1998.
      Surviving are two sons, Richard and Van Ingersoll - both of Kalkaska; a daughter, Sandra Mitchell of Kalkaska; a brother, Bernard Hollis of San Antonio, Texas; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
      An infant son; two brothers, Leonard and Willard; and a sister, Pauline, preceded her in death.
      Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with E. Dan Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Kalkaska.
      Monica R. Kitchen
      Died November 24, 2000
      TRAVERSE CITY - Monica Rose Kitchen, 36, of Traverse City and formerly of Elk Rapids, died on Friday, Nov. 24, 2000.
      Born on Sept. 10, 1964, in Traverse City, she was the daughter of Roger W. and Barbette (Spinner) Kitchen. She graduated from Elk Rapids High School in 1982; attended Alma College; and was a certified Spanish translator through the University of Madrid. She was employed as a care giver for the elderly.
      A very loving and giving person, Monica devoted her life to helping others before herself.
      She is survived by her mother, Barbette Kitchen of Elk Rapids; one sister, Angela Kitchen of Auburn Hills; one brother, Robert Kitchen of Acme; her maternal grandmother, Flora Spinner of Elk Rapids; and her paternal grandmother, Leona Kitchen of Rapid City. She is also survived by many loving family and friends.
      Monica was preceded in death by her father; her maternal grandfather, Robert Spinner; her paternal grandfather, Roger J. Kitchen; and an uncle, Robert Spinner.
      A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Elk Rapids United Methodist Church, where the family will greet friends from 1 p.m. until the time of services. The Rev. Tom Pier Fitzgerald and the Rev. Verne Summers will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Elk Rapids.
      Memorial contributions may be directed to NAMI of Northwest Michigan, 4003 Moonlight Bay Trail, Traverse City, MI 49684 in care of Treasurer or the Elk Rapids United Methodist Church.

      Charles S. Noonan, Jr.
      Died November 27, 2000
      MAPLE CITY - Charles S. Noonan, Jr., 84, of Maple City, died Monday.
      Born Sept. 7, 1916, in Chicago, Ill., he was the son of Charles S. and Lula (Ashmore) Noonan, Sr. On April 15, 1942, in Tonawanda, NY, he married the former Alice M. Schmidt.
      Charles was a machine operator while serving in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was the recipient of the American Theater Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. After the war he worked with the Civilian Conservation Core planting trees and he was a crew leader. Charles also delivered appliances for Max's Service. He drove the sander in the winter and repaired roads in the summer for Leelanau County Road Commission. Charles enjoyed fishing and was an avid gardener in his younger years. He loved the outdoors and going for daily walks.
      Survivors include two sons, Timothy L. (Deanna) Noonan of Interlochen and Allan K. (Carol) Noonan of Empire; one brother, Glen (Ella) Noonan, Sr. of Maple City; four sisters, Muriel (Andy Sr.) Baetz of Maple City, Ethel Furst of Ludington, Cynthia Monroe of Traverse City and Lucy Petelle of Massachusetts. He is also survived by six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and step-grandchildren.
      He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice M. Noonan, who died on July 2, 1990; three brothers, Franklin, Carl and Garnet; and two sisters, Doris and Erma.
      Cremation has taken place. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Rosehill Cemetery.
      Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Arthritis Association.
