September 2, 2000ObituariesELEANORE J. BRACISZEWSKI, 87, of Manistee, died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2000, at West Shore Medical Center in Manistee. She was born June 24, 1913 in Manistee.Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 4, at the Herbert Funeral Home in Manistee, where an evening prayer will be held at 8 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Manistee. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Manistee. Steven Szasz Sr. Died August 31, 2000 FLINT - Steven Szasz, Sr., 78, of Flint, died Thursday at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Mr. Szasz was born June 28, 1922, in Hungary, the son of Karoly and Piroska Szasz. Mr. Szasz retired from Fisher Body. He was a talented cabinet maker and a member of the Hungarian Culture Club in Detroit. Survivors include two children, Elizabeth Szasz-Nartker of Swartz Creek and Steven Szasz, Jr. of Traverse City; three grandchildren, Edward (Kim) Zerka, Christine (James) Yoo and Meagan Szasz; two great-grandchildren, Rachel and Steven Zerka; and numerous family members in Hungary. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5, at the funeral home with the Rev. Zoltan S. Sutto officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
