He was born March 28, 1948, in Manistee.Private family services will be held with Interment in Marilla Cemetery. SANDY RAE THOMPSON, 49, beloved wife of James Dale, dear mother of Jimmer and Jeni (Daniel) Novak. Cherished grandmother of Ian and Tyke Novak. Daughter of Raymond C. Greening. Sister of Sharon Groves, Lynne Greening, Karin Burke, Craig Greening, Gayle Johnson and Kevin Greening. Sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, and aunt to many. Extraordinary friend to all who knew her. Memorial services was held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Church of the Living God, 1514 Birmley Road, Traverse City. Memorial contributions may be made to NABCO. CAPT. MITCHELL AUGUST BULMANN, 27, of Traverse City, died as a result of a military aircraft accident on Friday, July 6, 2001, at Shaw Airforce Base in South Carolina. Arrangements are pending at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home in Traverse City. Helen C. Schroeter Died July 6, 2001 INTERLOCHEN - Helen C. Schroeter, 90, of Interlochen since 1939, formerly of Gaylord, died on Friday. She was born on April 30, 1911, in Gaylord, the daughter of Charles and Antionette (Kaczmarek) Matusik. On June 12, 1937, in Detroit, she married William Schroeter. Helen was a member of the Interlochen Eagles Club Auxiliary and Senior Center of Interlochen. She was also a life long gardener. She is survived by six children, Richard (Frances) Schroeter of Interlochen, Antionette (Neil) Bower of Benzonia, Florence (Richard) Smith of Thompsonville, Phyllis Schroeter of Traverse City, James (Paulette) Schroeter of Interlochen and Robert (Suzanne) Schroeter of Interlochen; one brother, Edward Matusik of Traverse City; 17 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William in 1968; two grandchildren, David Gionet and Trista Schroeter; two sisters, Matilda Garbowski and Violette Matusik; and two brothers, Anthony and Stanley Matusik. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Grawn, with Rev. Gerald Micketti as celebrant. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church. Interment will be in the Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Patrick Catholic Church or Hospice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Traverse City Chapel of Covell Funeral Homes. |
