November 11, 2001ObituariesBEULAH - Earchel Cletis Burmingham, 70, of Beulah, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001, at Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital in Frankfort.Earchel was born in Paragould, Ark. on Jan. 10, 1931, the son of George Washington and Marietta Jane (Easter) Burmingham. On April 22, 1953, in Piggott, Ark., he married the former Mildred A. Caldwell. Earchel worked as a general laborer for the Brunswick Corp. Earchel is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mildred; his sons, Cletis (Mary) Burmingham of Grand Haven, and Gregory (Laura) Burmingham of Wyoming, Mich.; his daughters, Pamala (James) Denune of Shipshewane, Ind., and Mary (Philip) Czarnecki of Manistee; one brother; one sister; 17 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at the Bennett-Barz Funeral Home in Beulah at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 12, with the Rev. Kenneth Blair officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home at the time of the services. Memorials contributions may be directed to Munson Hospice. The family was served by the Bennett-Barz Funeral Home of Beulah. TIMOTHY K. HOPKINS, 51, of Elk Rapids, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2001, at Munson Medical Center. A Life Celebration service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 19, at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, Traverse City. A complete obituary will appear in Tuesday's Record-Eagle. Funeral services for LEONA M. (KITCHEN) KUBIS will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, Traverse City. Visitation will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 12, at the funeral home. IRENE CONSTANCE (ROSINSKI) PHILLIPS, 86, of Cedar, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2001. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2001, at Holy Rosary Church in Cedar. Fr. Walter Anthony will serve as celebrant. RONDELL J. SOCHER SR., 58, of Free Soil, passed away on Friday, Nov. 9, 2001, at West Shore Medical Center in Manistee. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at the Johnson Funeral Home.
