Bonnie Atkinson Dulock
      Died November 18, 2001
      WILLIAMSBURG - Bonnie Atkinson Dulock, 44, of Williamsburg, died on Sunday at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
      She was born on March 18, 1957, in Ann Arbor, the daughter of Gerald E. and Mary L. (Mackmin) Atkinson.
      She was employed as a legal secretary for Faulkner & Williams P.C. in Traverse City. Prior to that she was employed by Thomas and Gilbert P.C. also in Traverse City.
      She grew up in Plymouth and moved to Williamsburg in 1993. While in Plymouth she was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
      She had a love for animals, she especially enjoyed caring for strays.
      On July 26, 1997, in Central Lake she married Stephen Dulock, who survives. Also surviving are her parents, Gerald E. and Mary L. Atkinson of Torch Lake; two brothers, Robert G. (Liz) Atkinson, also of Torch Lake and Barry A. Atkinson of Elk Rapids; two sisters, Cheryl A. (Tony) Ross of Covington, Ind. and Brenda S. (Sam) Pappalardo of Barrington, Ill.; and ten nieces and nephews.
      Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Central Lake Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes, the Rev. Richard McWatters officiating. Interment will take place in Lakeview Cemetery in Torch Lake Township. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
      Memorial contributions may be made to the Cherryland Humane Society or the Liver and Kidney Disease Foundation.
      **FLAG** Dr. John F. Jackson
      Died November 15, 2001
      FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Dr. John F. Jackson, 82, of Fort Wayne, Ind., formerly of Traverse City, died Thursday at Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana.
      Born in Ossian, he retired in 1979 as an anesthesiologist at Fort Wayne Anesthesiology, which he helped found.
      John retired as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army Medical Corps and served during World War II. He was a medical officer with the 30th Engineers in the South Pacific, stationed at Guadalcanal and the Admiralty Islands. He had also been a family doctor in Ossian, a resident at Indianapolis General Hospital and University Hospital in Ann Arbor, and practiced anesthesiology in the Fort Wayne area from 1950 until 1979. He was a fellow of the American College of Anesthesiology, a diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology and a past president of the Lutheran Hospital medical staff. When John lived in Traverse City he was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.
      Surviving are his wife, Kathryn E.; a daughter, Sharon Lee Vigneux of Wilton, N.H.; a son, J. Steven of Monroeville; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Roselyn Harris of Santa Barbara, Calif. and Merriam Ridings of Syracuse.
      His son, Kenneth George, died in 1995.
      Services were held on Monday at 2 p.m. at the Holly Cross Lutheran Church, 3425 Crescent Ave., with calling also from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road. Entombment was in the Concordia Cemetery Gardens.
      Memorial contributions may be directed to the Trinity Lutheran Church in Traverse City.
      JACK HILLIKER, 80, of Baldwin, died Sunday at home.
      A memorial service will be held later this spring and a full obituary will appear at a later date.
      The family is being served by the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home in Traverse City.
