CONSTANCE "CONNIE" YOUKER, 63, of Traverse City, passed away Friday, Sept. 21, 2001. Arrangements are pending and will be announced by the Traverse City Chapel of Covell Funeral Homes. TRAVERSE CITY - Paul J. D'Iorio, 53, of Traverse City, passed away Thursday, Sept. 20, 2001. Paul was born on Jan. 29, 1948, in Chicago, the son of Philip and Dorothy (Goldman) D'lorio. Paul married the former Sheryl Sperling on Aug. 8, 1994, in Traverse City. Paul owned and operated Northern Michigan Credit Consultants of Traverse City for the last 25 years. He was a member of the Traverse City Optimist Club, was on the board of directors for the Salvation Army, and was a former member of the Cherryland Humane Society. He enjoyed horseback riding and camping. Paul is survived by his wife, Sheryl, of Traverse City; two sons, Will D'Iorio and Philip D'Iorio, both at home; one stepdaughter, Casey Barnes of Traverse City; one stepson, Jason Barnes of Traverse City; and one brother, Stephen (Dorothy) D'Iorio of Park Ridge, Ill. Paul was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 24, and will immediately be followed by a Service of Remembrance at 1 p.m. at the Traverse City Chapel of Covell Funeral Homes. Rev. Leonard Biggs will be officiating. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Cherryland Humane Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Traverse City Chapel of Covell Funeral Homes. |
