Konecki, 43, of Petoskey, passed away at his home Tuesday, April 30, 2002.Paul was born Aug. 1, 1958, in Alpena, the son of the late Joseph and Marie (Richard) Konecki. He graduated from Alpena High School in 1976, served in the U.S. Navy, and then attended college where he earned his degree in loss control. Paul worked for Fisher's Big Wheel as loss control manager, and for the past seven years had been employed by Kmart in Petoskey, also as the loss control manager. He was a member of the Walloon Lake Community Church. Paul was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing. On Sept. 2, 1995, he married Jean Clous, and she survives. Paul is also survived by two sons, Joshua and Justin, both at home in Petoskey; his mother-in-law, Beverly Clous of Traverse City; his brothers-in-law, James, Paul, Alan and Thomas; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held today at 2 p.m. at the Walloon Lake Community Church, with Pastor Jeff Ellis officiating. A time of gathering and sharing of memories will be held at the church today from noon until the time of the service. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Alpena. Jussila, 64, a homemaker of Traverse City, formerly of Saginaw, died Wednesday morning at her home. Born May 17, 1937, in Saginaw, she was the daughter of John and Jeanne (Thieler) Lemaire. Louise enjoyed all crafts and animals and especially loved spending time with her extended family. She is survived by her children, Sandy (William) Barraw of Traverse City, Ronald (Sarah) Stevens of St. Helen, Dale Dietrich of Traverse City, Brian (Connie) Dietrich of Sterling, Duane (Jeanne) Dietrich of Traverse City and Jeanne Dietrich of St. Helen; her brother, Emil (Doreen) Lemaire of Farwell; and sister, JunAnne (Larry) Wood of Saginaw; and 18 grandchildren. Louise was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, John Lemaire and Merle Lemaire. Visitation will be at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. William Geisel officiating. Burial will follow in Monroe Center Cemetery, Blair Township. PAUL EUGENE MCTEER, 78, of Acme, died Wednesday, May 1, 2002. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 5, at the Traverse City Chapel of Covell Funeral Homes. Graveside services for VIOLA "VI" MARIE PLAMONDON, who passed away Jan. 1, 2002, will be held at 2 p.m. today, at St. Mary's of Lake Leelanau Cemetery. Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home is serving the family. SUSAN ELIZABETH SCHULER, 42, of Chicago, San Francisco and Torch Lake, died Thursday, May 2, 2002, at Munson Medical Center. The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 5, at the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes. A private memorial service will be held in mid-May on Torch Lake. A Catholic Mass Intention will be said at the 9 a.m. Mass Sunday, May 26, at St. Luke Catholic Church in Bellaire. A complete obituary will appear in the Saturday edition of the Traverse City Record-Eagle. JAMES ROGER SOMERO, 35, of Fountain, and formerly of Arcadia, died Sunday, April 28, 2002, in Mason County. Visitation will be held between 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today, at the Edwards-Oak Grove Funeral Home in Bear Lake. An evening prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 4, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Onekama. Arrangements are being handled by the Edwards-Oak Grove Funeral Home in Bear Lake. JOSEPHINE ELIZABETH SPEY, 88, of Glen Arbor, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2002, at Maple Valley Nursing Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 4, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Glen Arbor, with the Rev. Paul H. Schneider officiating.
