November 30, 2003ObituariesTRAVERSE CITY - Miriam P. (Brown) Bullock, 88, of Traverse City and formerly of Flint, died Friday, Nov. 28, 2003, in Traverse City.Mrs. Bullock was born on April 14, 1915, in Arlington, S.D., to Walter and Martha Brown. She was a member of the Central United Methodist Church of Flint. Mrs. Bullock is survived by her children, David (Dana) Bullock of Knox, Ind., Beth (Robert) Turner of Glen Arbor and Kathleen (Scott) Pavlich of Cheboygan. She was the dear grandmother of Wayne (Amanda) Bullock, Wesley Bullock, Natalie Bullock, Dawn (Jeffrey) Gardner, Mark (Kerry) Turner, Benjamin Pavlich and Emily Pavlich; and great-grandmother of Grant Jeffreys, Hillary Bullock, Garrentt Gardner, and Robert Turner. Mrs. Bullock was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, C. Wesley Bullock, in 2001; and by two brothers, Paul and Howard Brown. Visitation will take place Monday, Dec. 1, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Dodds-Dumanois Funeral Home in Flint. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, at the funeral home, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to a hospice of donor's choice. CLARA M. BARNES, 71, of Kewadin, died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2003, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center-LTC. A Service of Remembrance will be held Friday, Dec. 5, at 1 p.m. at the Elk Rapids Chapel of Covell Funeral Homes. A complete obituary will follow in a later edition. LOUISE IRENE MASSIE, 78, of Kalkaska, formerly of Union Lake, died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center-LTC. Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, at Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska, with visitation one hour prior.
