December 25, 2004ObituariesCARROLL J. GEORGE, 91, of East Jordan, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004, at the Charlevoix Area Hospital. Visitation will take place Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, from 3 to 7 p.m., at the Penzien Funeral Homes, Inc. in East Jordan. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, at 2 p.m., also at the funeral home. Arrangements are by the Penzien Funeral Homes, Inc. of East Jordan. STANLEY R. KOSIBOSKI, 89, of Manistee, passed away Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004, at Lakeview Lutheran Mannor in Cadillac. The family will receive friends Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., at the Herbert Funeral Home, where Prayers from the Order of Christian Funerals will be prayed at 8 p.m. A Mass from the Order of Christian Funerals will be celebrated Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, at 10 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Manistee, with the Rev. William Zwiefka serving as celebrant. Burial will take place in the Mount Carmel Cemetery in Manistee. The Herbert Funeral Home of Manistee is in charge of arrangements. GRAND RAPIDS - Terry Guy Zick, 57, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004, at St. Mary's Health Care. Born and raised in Traverse City, Terry lived in Grand Rapids for the last 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Nina; children, Verl (Marian) Zick and Callie (Chuck) Brott; grandchildren, Dylan Zick and Mackenzie Brott; mother, Joan Zick and mother-in-law, Lyma Barber; brothers, Dale (Sandy) Zick, Calvin Zick, Stanley (Joy) Zick; sisters, Debbie (Tom) Williams and Linda (Paul) Wachter; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Verl Zick; brothers, Sam and William Zick; and sister, Dorothy Olson. According to Terry's wishes, cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, at 11 a.m., at the Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller Ave. N.E., Grand Rapids, MI. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service.
