December 26, 2004ObituariesJohn Allen "Jack" DudasDied December 19, 2004 TRAVERSE CITY - John Allen "Jack" Dudas, 59, of Traverse City, passed away Sunday, Dec. 19, 2004, at his home. Jack was born Aug. 21, 1945, to Rudolph and Loretta (Weiss) Dudas in Detroit. He married Mary Frost on July 27, 1980, in Las Vegas. In 1993, they moved from California to Michigan, where they have lived ever since. Jack loved the outdoors, especially camping, fishing and hunting. He also liked an occasional trip to the casino. He is survived by his wife; son, John Dudas; daughter, Jennifer; stepdaughter, Shawn (Ted) Sims; brothers, Larry Dudas, Rick (Linda) Dudas and Allen (Angie) Dudas; sister, Carol (Steve) Quinlen-Hench; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Besides his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his Aunt Agnes. A memorial service is scheduled for spring at the family's home. Arrangements were entrusted to the Covell Funeral Homes of Traverse City.
