      Hermania A. 'Minnie' Behm
      Died March 22, 2004
      TRAVERSE CITY - Hermania A. 'Minnie' Behm, 87, of Traverse City, formerly of Saginaw, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2004, at Birchwood Nursing Center, with her husband at her side. Hermania was born on Jan. 11, 1917, in Saginaw, to the late Adolf and Stephanie (Urban) Klisch.
      She was married to John Behm on Sept. 8, 1945, in Pontiac. They had resided in the Saginaw and Bridgeport areas until 1993, when they moved to Traverse City.
      Surviving Minnie are her husband; two brothers and a sister, Gerald Klisch, Irene Momier and Arthur Klisch, all of Saginaw; and five nieces and one nephew, Margaret Kunnen of Saginaw, Stephanie Strehl of Traverse City, Elaine Baird of Saginaw, Jane Ann Schwarm of Frankenmuth, and Arthur John Klisch of OrtonviIIe.
      Minnie was preceded in death by a sister, Rose.
      According to Minnie's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 2, 2004, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, 950 N. Center, Saginaw. The family will be present from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. The Rev. Edward Pankow will officiate, with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
      Those who so desire may make memorials to the Alzheimer's Association, Northwest Michigan Chapter, 1040 Walnut St., Traverse City, MI 49686.
      Arrangements are by Hill Funeral Home in Saginaw.
     
      TIMOTHY G. BLACKMER, 57, of Maple Forest Township, formerly of Dearborn, died Sunday, March 21, 2004, at his home.
      Visitation will take place today, March 24, from noon to 9 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m. and a Veterans Service at 8 p.m., at Sorenson Funeral Home, McEvers Chapel, in Grayling.
      Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 25, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Grayling. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
     
      MAXINE J. LAUBSCHER, 69, of Manistee, died on Monday, March 22, 2004, at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak.
      Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2004, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., at Herbert Funeral Home in Manistee, with a VFW Auxiliary Memorial service at 7:30 p.m. A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 26, 2004, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Manistee.
      Arrangements are by Herbert Funeral Home, P.C., in Manistee.
     
      HELEN C. PILON, 94, of Bellaire, died Saturday morning, March 20, 2004, at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility.
      Graveside services will be held in the spring at Helena Township Cemetery.
      Arrangements are by the Bellaire Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.

      Joan Carrol Boehm
      Died March 13, 2004
      VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Joan Carrol Boehm, 67, of the 700 block of Brinson Arch, passed away on March 13, 2004, in a hospital in Virginia.
      Born on June 8, 1936, in DeWitt, Joan worked many years as a Nurses Aid, and retired form Westminster-Canterbury after over 10 years of dedicated service.
      Joan's family and friends will remember her as a good-hearted person who worked very hard and always put family and friends first.
      Surviving Joan are two sons, Philip (Ann), and Gary Boehm Jr.; two daughters, Cindy (Russell) Hennen, and Kim (Stan) Glaser; and seven grandchildren.
      She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lorrie Schavey.
      A funeral service has been held at Kellum Funeral Home in Virginia Beach, Va.
