November 22, 2004ObituariesDONALD EDWARD ADAMSKI, 67, of Manistee, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004.Mass from the Order of Christian Funerals will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today, Nov. 22, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Manistee, with Fr. William Zwiefka, celebrant. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Manistee. The Herbert Funeral Home of Manistee is in charge of funeral arrangements. JACK JUNIOR DOHERTY, 77, of Kalkaska, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center Long Term Care Unit. Visitation will take place Tuesday, Nov. 23, from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. William J. Gossman Died November 20, 2004 WILLIAMSBURG - William J. Gossman, 83, of Williamsburg, passed away Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. Bill was born March 4, 1921, to William J. and Theresa (Tabaczka) Gossman, in Detroit. He married Margaret P. White on June 13, 1942, in Detroit. Bill retired from General Motors in 1975 and moved to Williamsburg in 1983. He was an avid bowler and loved gardening. He was a Grand Knight in the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Gossman; two children, Gloria (Frank) Simkins and William J. (Judith) Gossman Jr.; his brothers, Irvin (Gertrude) and Leonard Gossman; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Trapani. Visitation for Bill is planned for this evening, Nov. 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Traverse City Chapel of Covell Funeral Homes. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, at the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Traverse City Chapel of Covell Funeral Homes.
