Obituaries

      TRAVERSE CITY - LaMar Jack Feneley, 79, of Traverse City, formerly of Royal Oak and Grand Rapids, died at Munson Medical Center on Monday, Nov. 22, 2004.
      LaMar was born in Pontiac, the son of Ross and Irene (Beach) Feneley. He married Nellie M. King at the Clawson United Methodist Church.
      He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Navy. A Pillsbury merchandiser for 14 years, he had previously owned a motel in Acme, and retired from Joslin Chevrolet in 1985.
      LaMar is survived by his wife of 62 years, Nellie M. Feneley of Traverse City; two sons, Wayne L. (Janet Koloski) of Traverse City and Gary J. (Joan) Feneley, also of Traverse City; two grandchildren, Scott D. Feneley and Christine M. (Rev. Donald) Phillips; great-grandson, Jacob Phillips; and brother, Robert Feneley of Tampa, Fla.
      Memorial services will be held Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, at 1 p.m., from the College Terrace Wesleyan Church, 2825 S. Airport Rd., Traverse City, with visitation one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Timothy Morris and the Rev. Donald Phillips will officiate. Burial will be in Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
      Memorials may be made in LaMar's name to the College Terrace Wesleyan Church.
      Arrangements have been entrusted to the Covell Funeral Homes of Traverse City.

      DEARBORN - Arthur J. Widrig, 88, of Dearborn, died Friday, Nov. 19, 2004.
      Mr. Widrig was a longtime member of the Dearborn Theater Guild. He served his country honorably in World War II in the Pacific Theatre.
      He was the beloved husband of the late Helen Widrig; brother of the late Ira Widrig; and brother of his late sisters, Mildred, Florence, Bernice, Lola and Jennie.
      He is survived by a nephew, James (Chris) Widrig of Wadsworth, Ohio; and a niece, Sandra (Wayne) Anderson of Sarasota, Fla.
      A memorial service was held Tuesday, Nov. 23, at the Dearborn Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home.
      Memorial contributions may be directed to the First United Church of Dearborn, 22124 Garrison Rd., Dearborn, MI 48124.

      Funeral services for MICHAEL J. COYNE, who died Monday, Nov. 22, 2004, will be held at 11 a.m. today, Nov. 24, 2004, at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home.

      VIRGINIA MAE DiDOMENICO, 77, of Traverse City, formerly of Grosse Pointe, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004, at home after an extended illness.
      Arrangements have been entrusted to the Covell Funeral Homes.

      VERNON F. RAUCH, 72, of Rapid City, died Monday, Nov. 22, 2004, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center Long Term Care.
      Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, at 11 a.m., at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery.
      Arrangements are by the Wolfe Funeral Home.

      CHRISTOPHER F. STEFANICK, 51, of Lansing, formerly of Manistee, died Monday, Nov. 22, 2004.
      Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, from 2 to 5 p.m., at the Palmer, Bush and Jensen Funeral Home, Delta Chapel, in Lansing. A memorial Mass will be conducted Saturday, Nov. 27, 2004, at 1 p.m., at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Manistee, with visitation one hour prior to the Mass.
      Arrangements are by the Herbert Funeral Home in Manistee.
