KENNETH H. BERTRAND, 65, of Frankfort, died Monday, Aug. 1, 2005.

The Frankfort Chapel of McElduff-Jowett Funeral Homes & Cremation Service is handling the arrangements.
JEAN JUNKER, 82, of Traverse City, died peacefully Sunday, July 31, 2005, at Munson Hospice House, surrounded by her loving family.
At her request, no services are planned.
The family is being served by the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home.
CHARLOTTE 'SHERRY' WOLF, 59, of Manistee, died Saturday, July 30, 2005, at West Shore Medical Center in Manistee.
Mass from the Order of Christian Funerals will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Manistee, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Herbert Funeral Home of Manistee is in charge of arrangements.
John Wesley Goodrich
Died August 1, 2005
THOMPSONVILLE - John Wesley Goodrich, 80, of Thompsonville, died Monday, Aug. 1, 2005, at his residence. He was born May 6, 1925, in Decatur, the son of Arzie and Ola (Bowers) Goodrich.
John was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. In 1978, he retired from Clark Equipment in Benton Harbor, where he had been employed for 27 years.
John was a past minister and a member of the Family Gospel Center in Thompsonville; he loved serving the Lord.
John is survived by his wife, Ernestine Goodrich; 12 children, Barbara (Ed) Zablocki of Cassopolis, Betty (Jim) Dunn of Coloma, Tom (Mel) Goodrich of Cassopolis, Donald Carlson of Thompsonville, Floyd Daniel Carlson of Thompsonville, Rebecca Ramirez of Thompsonville, Sandra (Fred) Jacko of Hartford, Carolyn (Bill) Fitzpatrick of Hartford, Charles (Bonnie) Adams of Decatur, Terri (Roger) Morse of Hartford, Paul (Teresa) Adams of Orange Park, Fla., and Minor (Robin) Adams of Pahrump, Nev.; 25 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Freda Galehouse of Kalkaska; and numerous nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Katherine Cook, Jennie Nesbitt and Josephine Crankshaw; and two brothers, Franklin Goodrich and Robert Goodrich.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, at the Family Gospel Center in Thompsonville, with Rev. Eugene Houghton officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Munson Hospice.
The Terwilliger Funeral Home in Kaleva is in charge of arrangements.
Nancy Lee Pedersen
Died July 31, 2005
CEDAR - Nancy Lee Pedersen, 71, of Cedar, passed away July 31, 2005, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Nancy was born Nov. 21, 1933, in Detroit, the daughter of the late Harry and Nina Anger. She graduated from Bellaire High School. It was on a blind date that she met her future husband, Gordon Pedersen, in January 1953. They were later married on Sept. 12,1953, in Detroit.
Nancy was a painter, businesswoman, real estate agent and primitive art collector. After selling a Flint-based business in 1992, Nancy and Gordon moved to the Traverse City area.
Nancy was extremely proud of her entire family , and they of her.
She is survived by her husband, Gordon Pedersen of Cedar; four sons, Jeffrey (Michelle) Pedersen of Denver, Curtis (June) Pedersen of Fenton, Scott (Shari) Pedersen of Boulder, Colo., and Gary (Kelli) Pedersen of Fountain Hills, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. She will be greatly missed by her dear friends in the Traverse City area and throughout the country.
Nancy was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Anger.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 3, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., and Thursday, Aug. 4, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 305 Sixth St., Traverse City, MI 49684.
In remembrance of Nancy, memorials may be directed to the charity of one's choice.
Richard Warren Steffe
Died July 30, 2005
LIVONIA - Richard Warren Steffe, 70, of Livonia, died Saturday, July 30, 2005.
He was the beloved husband of Alice; dear father of Richard (Laura) and Jeff (Nancy); dearest grandfather of five; loving brother of Lucille Wagner; and is also survived by two nieces and two nephews.
Mr. Steffe will be a gift to the University of Michigan Medical School. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, Redford.
