GOLDEN, 79, of Traverse City, died Friday, July 29, 2005, at Munson Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Monday, Aug. 1, 2005, at 11 a.m., at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, where visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Father Peter Eke will conduct the services. A complete obituary will be in Sunday's edition of the Record-Eagle. STEVEN L. JOHNSON, 61, of Manistee, died Thursday, July 28, 2005. Visitation will be Sunday, July 31, 2005, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., at the Herbert Funeral Home, where Prayers from the Order of Christian Funerals will be prayed at 8 p.m. A Mass from the Order of Christian Funerals will be celebrated Monday, Aug. 1, 2005, at 10 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Manistee. Burial will immediately follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Manistee. Arrangements are by the Herbert Funeral Home in Manistee. HARRY E. PHILO, 86, of Traverse City, died Thursday, July 28, 2005. "JACK" VERT SR. will be held Sunday, July 31, 2005, at 3 p.m., at Christ the King Catholic Church in Acme, where visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Arrangements by Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home. Estelle E. Kane Died July 24, 2005 MONROE - Estelle E. Kane, 92, of Monroe, died Sunday, July 24, 2005. Born June 24, 1913, in Monroe, she was the daughter of Nathan and Estelle (Dubois) Hubble. On Oct. 24, 1942, at St. Patricks Church, she married Oliver Kane, who died Feb. 26, 1996. Survivors include her son, Gerald M. Kane of California; three daughters, Marsha (Robert) Takac of Crossville, Tenn., Judi (Richard) Cobb of Traverse City and Virginia (Phillip) Drocy of Monroe; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband. Services were held at St. Marys Church in Monroe. Burial took place in St. Joseph Cemetery in Monroe. Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements were by the Rupp Funeral Home of Monroe.
