Beyond the piano and singing, Charmaine also enjoyed painting, reading the newspaper, working in the garden and just about everything domestic. As a devoted mother and homemaker, she especially loved to cook, care for her family, and just be with and around them; it was in and through her family, children and grandchildren that she experienced her life's greatest pleasures.
