DORIS JUSTINE LYDY, 86, of Bear Lake, died Wednesday, May 18, 2005, in Temperance. A complete obituary will be published at a later date. The family has entrusted Edwards-Oak Grove Funeral Home in Bear Lake with funeral arrangements. JEANNETTE LOUISE STALL, 91, of Frankfort, died Wednesday, May 18, 2005. Graveside services will be held today, May 19, 2005, at 4 p.m., at the Gilmore Township Cemetery, with Allison Bryant, Lay Minister, officiating. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 21, at 11 a.m., at the Elberta United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Greg Culver officiating. The family has entrusted Edwards-Oak Grove Funeral Home of Bear Lake with funeral arrangements. Walter E. Adams Died May 18, 2005 TUSTIN - Walter E. Adams, 77, of Tustin, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2005, at Mercy Hospital in Cadillac. He was born July 1, 1927, in Traverse City, to Robert and Emma (Rice) Walters. On Feb. 8, 1947, Walter married Margaret Fowler in Traverse City. He served his country in the United States Navy. Walter worked as a supervisor for AT&T Phone Company. He was a past Commander and life-member of VFW Post 2780. A former resident of Traverse City, he was a life member of the Traverse City Elks and a Telephone Pioneers. He enjoyed golfing, computers and traveling. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret; four children, Linda (Larry) Erickson, Gary Adams, W. Brent (Robin) Adams and Sandra (David) Lake; seven grandchildren, Kristina Green, Tanya Erickson, Kerry Ann (Bernie) Crotty, Gary Adams Jr., Raymond Adams, Tara Lake and Chris Adams; four great-grandchildren, Kyle and Kayleigh Green, and Maggie and Tanner Toppel; brother, Terry (Betty) Adams; sisters, Dorothy (Earl) Wares and Deanna (Don) Brown; stepbrothers, T. Leo Johnson, Robert Johnson and Robert Kratovil; and stepsisters, Mavis Miller and Marion Fasel. A Service of Remembrance will be held Saturday, May 21, 2005, at 1:30 p.m., at the Covell Funeral Home in Traverse City, with the Rev. Dr. Daniel Herlein officiating. Inurnment will take place at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be considered to Amicare Hospice in Cadillac. Arrangements were entrusted to the Covell Funeral Homes of Traverse City.
