Peninsula Cellars 2004 Chardonnay has made the Top Most Exciting Wines list in Tom Stevenson's book, "The Wine Report: 2007. It's the only U.S. winery outside of California, Washington or Oregon to make the list. It ranted fourth in the Top 10 Greatest-Quality Wines of the Atlantic Northeast and Peninsula Cellars was also listed among the top 10 Greatest Producers in the Atlantic Northeast.
The 2004 vintage is now sold out, but winemaker Bryan Ulbrich believes the 2005 Chardonnay is even better.
