• Patti DeAgostino has been named executive director of the Grand Traverse Heritage Center in Traverse City. DeAgostino will be responsible for the operations of the historic center in addition to marketing, development, community relations, volunteer services and special events.

She succeeds Dan Truckey, who has moved to Marquette where he will build a museum dedicated to Upper Peninsula history.

Prior to her appointment, DeAgostino held administrative positions with Grand Traverse Pavilions, Spring Arbor University at the Northwestern Michigan College University Center and Interlochen Center for the Arts.

• After a brief absence, Asa Hayes has rejoined Living Light Massage and Wellness Center in Traverse City as manager under the new ownership of Raelene Wooden-Hall and Chris Hall. Founded in 2000, the center offers therapeutic massage and spa treatments.

• Janice Beyer has recently joined the Traverse City office of Edward Jones as a financial adviser. She can be reached at 947-1123.

• The Rieck/Witt Team has opened a new EXIT Realty office in Benzie County. Dave and Sonjia Reitan are the new owners of EXIT Dave Reitan Realty in Beulah. The phone number is 882-4575.

Bob and Cindy Edwards are new owners of EXIT Chain O'Lakes Realty in Bellaire. The Edwards have been with Reick/Witt's Bellaire office for more than two years and are continuing the business as a franchise.

Two new agents have joined the Reick/Witt's Paramount office in Traverse City. Carrie Perez, of Traverse City, started her real estate career in 2006. She can be reached at 649-1588.

• Samantha Hodges, a certified massage therapist, recently opened Nature's Escape Massage Therapy at the Bayview Professional Center, 10850 E. Traverse Hwy., Suite 1135 in Traverse City.

Hodges will offer Swedish, deep tissue and relaxation massages.
