07/27/2007MemorandaSeminars• Plante & Moran will be offering two seminars in northern Michigan to help owners and managers better understand the effects of the new Michigan Business Tax on their businesses. The free, two-hour seminar will be led by members of Plante & Moran's State and Local Tax Team from noon to 2 p.m. Aug. 7 at Castle Farms in Charlevoix. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. A seminar also will be offered from 8 to 10 a.m. Aug. 8 at the Hagerty Center in Traverse City. She will be responsible for home mortgages, refinancing and construction loan origination in both Grand Traverse and Leelanau County.
