Vacation Donation = Papers for KidsDid you know that nearly 6,000 students in our area use the Record-Eagle as a learning tool in the classroom? Help prepare our students for tomorrow by donating to the Papers for Kids program today. Research shows that students who use newspapers in school are better readers and writers. What´s more, they have a greater knowledge of current events and tend to take an active role in community affairs. How can you help? Support Education When You Go on Vacation. When you´re going on vacation, call the Record-Eagle circulation department and donate those stopped papers to the Papers for Kids Program. Because of the Record-Eagle match program, for each day you´re away on vacation, four papers will go into classrooms next school year. Circulation can be reached at 946-2187. |
