ESTHER E. SCOTT, 95, of Kaleva, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 1999, at West Shore Hospital in Manistee. She was born April 17, 1904, in Kaleva.
Cremation has taken place. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Maple Grove Township Cemetery in Kaleva. The Terwilliger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Dorothy Jean 'Dee Dee' Dickert
Died November 27, 1999
MIDLAND - Dorothy Jean "Dee Dee" Dickert, 77, entered the presence of the Lord after a valiant struggle with colon cancer.
Born Oct. 20, 1922, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, she was the daughter of Charles H. and Frances H. (Thistle) Newcomer.
On May 27, 1944, Dee Dee married Yancey J. Dickert in Newberry, S.C., and moved to Midland in 1948.
Dee Dee was a member of First United Methodist Church of Midland and enjoyed her many friends.
Survivors include her husband, Yancey "Jack" Dickert; daughters, Wanda (Jim) Jones of Midland, Ginny (Mike) McCormick of Chandler, Ariz., Pamela (Terry) Allen of Durand, and Kathleen (Ted) Bee of Traverse City; and eight grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 30, at First United Methodist Church in Midland.
Dee Dee requested donations be made to the Charles H. Newcomer Scholarship fund which is named after her father who was a chemistry teacher in the Grand Rapids school district. Richard C. McGrath
Died December 6, 1999
KINGSLEY - Richard C. McGrath, 36, of Kingsley, died Monday at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
He was a member of Kingsley Sportsman Club. Richard was employed by Arms & Cole Inc. as a HVAC mechanic.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela J. McGrath of Kingsley; two sons, Joe and Ricky - both at home; his father and step mother, Charles D. and Karen McGrath of Allen Park; his mother, Linda L. McGrath of California; three brothers; a sister; three step brothers; and a step sister.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home in Traverse City.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home; the Rev. Albin J. Gietzen will officiate.
Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, Colo.
Memorials may be directed to Joe & Ricky Educational Fund care of their mother, Pamela.
