RONALD J. BREITHUPT, 92, of Traverse City, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 1999, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
      A complete obituary and memorial service information will appear next week. Memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church or school. Arrangements are being handled by Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home in Traverse City.
     
      PAUL W. FITZHUGH, 54 of Tampa, Fla., formerly of Elberta, died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 1999.
      Arrangements are being handled by Frankfort Chapel, McElduff Funeral Homes.
     
      INGEBORG T. 'INKY' HAYES, 81, of Manistee, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 1999.
      Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Johnson Funeral Home in Manistee.
     
      DONALD LEACH, 82, of Traverse City, died Friday, Dec. 24, 1999.
      Arrangements will be announced by Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home in Traverse City.
     
      RUTH RODRIGUES, 63, of Traverse City, died Friday, Dec. 24, 1999, at home.
      A memorial service is being planned for a later date. A full obituary will appear in a future edition of the Record-Eagle. Arrangements are being handled by Hibbard Funeral and Cremation Service.
     
      Barbara (McMurray) Chapman
      Died December 23 1999
      LIBERTYVILLE, Ill. - Barbara (McMurray) Chapman, 70, of Libertyville, Ill. died Thursday in St. Francis Hospital in Evanston.
      Barbara was born July 28, 1929, in Chicago. A former professional ballerina, she performed in the New York Broadway production of "Carousel."
      She was the beloved wife of the late Donald E.; loving mother of John E. (Anamarie) Chapman of Libertyville; and the late Donald (Cathy) Chapman of Antioch; fond grandmother of Patricia, Kristine and Anne; and dearest aunt of Kay, Gary, William, Keith and Sally.
      Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the McMurrough Funeral Chapel, Ltd., 101 Park Place, Libertyville, Ill. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Father Thomas Conde officiating. Interment services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville.
      In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church, 3038 M-88 Hwy., Bellaire, MI 40615.
     
      Robert S. Davis
      Died December 23, 1999
      MT. PLEASANT - Robert S. Davis, 63, of Mt. Pleasant, died Thursday at the Isabella Medical Care Facility.
      Born March 14, 1936, "Bob" was the son of Dr. Lionel and Lucile (Schacht) Davis, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his sister, Barbara A. (Davis) Berry of Traverse City and two nieces, Melissa C. Berry and Jennifer R. Berry, both of Traverse City, who loved him dearly.
      Robert lived mostly in Mt. Pleasant with his parents until they retired to North Carolina. He loved to sing accompanied by his mother. Though developmentally disabled, in the fifties he memorized the Messiah and sang it with the Central Michigan College Choir. He also is well remembered by friends for singing the Lord's Prayer for his sister's wedding in 1966. He loved sports and avidly followed the Tigers, the Lions, the Red Wings and the Pistons. The Red Wings recently autographed a shirt for him. He loved to listen to classical music, especially Karl Haas on Saturday mornings. After being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, Karl's son, Jeff Haas, a physical therapist specialist, was also important in helping him to keep his mobility as long as possible.
      In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be directed to the Isabella Medical Care Facility, 1222 North Dr., Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858, which was founded by his father, Dr. Lionel L. Davis, and whose wonderful staff has taken great loving care of him for the past 13 years that he has resided there.
