ROBERT J. CHERRY of Traverse City died Sunday, Oct. 31, 1999, at Birchwood Nursing Center in Traverse City.
Arrangements will be announced by Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home in Traverse City.
PHYLLIS M. EHRENBERG, 92, of Traverse City, died Sunday morning, Oct. 31, 1999, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Traverse City Chapel of Covell Funeral Homes. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in El Camino Memorial Park in San Diego.
FLORIAN 'SONNY' KUBANEK, 67, of Manistee, died unexpectedly Saturday, Oct. 30, 1999, at West Shore Hospital in Manistee.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Herbert Funeral Home in Manistee; Evening Prayers will be held at 8 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Manistee. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Manistee.
JOHN H. MCCLAIN, of Beulah, died suddenly Sunday, Oct. 31, 1999, at his residence.
Arrangements are pending at the Perry Chapel, McElduff Funeral Homes in Benzonia.
EULALEE MCKEAN, 74, of Benzonia, died Sunday afternoon, Oct. 31, 1999, at The Maples in Frankfort.

RANDOLPH B. 'RANDY' SICKLES, 18, of Sherman, died Thursday, Oct. 28, 1999, due to an automobile and pedestrian accident. Born Dec. 4, 1980, in Ann Arbor, Randy had been employed as a sales clerk.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hitesman Funeral Home in Cadillac. Funeral services will follow immediately at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Agnes E. Carmichael
Died October 30, 1999
TRAVERSE CITY - Agnes E. Carmichael, 97, died Saturday at Grand Traverse Pavilions.
Born Aug. 5, 1902, in California, Scotland, she was the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Dicksen) Jenkins.
Agnes married Alexander Carmichael who preceded her in death in 1995. She was a former resident of Royal Oak and a member of Daughters of Scotia, Detroit. Agnes moved to Traverse City in 1995. She enjoyed reading.
Survivors include her son, Archie J. (Robbie) Carmichael of Traverse City; three granddaughters, Robbie (Ernest) Kafgas of St. Clair, Jill (Douglas) Goldsby of Rochester Hills, and Susan (Scott) Feldman of Greensboro, N.C.; two grandsons, David (Kimberly) Carmichael of Clarkston and Scott (Tia) Carmichael of Grand Rapids; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Agnes was also preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter, Elizabeth, in infancy.
Private family services will be held at a later date.

Gladys Marguerite Lewis
Died October 31, 1999
TRAVERSE CITY - Gladys Marguerite Lewis, 98, of Traverse City, passed away Sunday at Luther Manor in Saginaw.
Born July 4, 1901, in Traverse City, she was the daughter of Mack and Nellie (Weller) Hoxie. On Sept. 15, 1923, she married Albert Guy Lewis.
Gladys graduated from Traverse City High School and attended Traverse City Normal College. She taught for two years at Traverse City and Lake Ann schools. Gladys loved her family and enjoyed gardening and games - especially dominoes.
She leaves two daughters and five sons to cherish her memory, Maxine and Arthur Watt of El Paso, Texas, Nancy and Jack Sheets of Traverse City, Willard Lewis of South Haven, Roy and Welma Lewis of Saginaw, Don and Mary Ann Lewis of Reese, Robert and Charlotte Lewis of Saginaw, and Gordon and Carol Lewis of Saginaw; a son-in-law, Lans Owen of Florida; a daughter-in-law, Karen Titus and her husband, Harry, of Florida; 29 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, on April 29, 1978; a son, Albert H. Lewis, in 1993; a daughter, Jean Owen, in 1999; a sister, Hazel Smith; and a brother, Warren Hoxie.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Road, Saginaw; the family will be present.
Friends may also call from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The family will also be present and funeral services will follow immediately at 11:30 a.m.; the Rev. Douglas Kahl will officiate.
Interment will be in Linwood Cemetery in Grand Traverse County.

Barbara J. Sterling
Died October 30, 1999
BIG RAPIDS - Barbara J. Sterling, 83, of Big Rapids, formerly of Traverse City, passed away Saturday, Oct. 30, 1999, at Spectrum Hospital in Grand Rapids.
Born April 17, 1916, in Detroit, she was the daughter of William and Greta (Winters) Urquhart.
Barbara retired from Traverse City public schools in 1978.
Survivors include three sons, Richard (Scarlett) Sterling of Fairbanks, Alaska, Phillip Sterling of Big Rapids, and Kenneth Sterling of Traverse City; two daughters, Judy (Bob) Porter of Wilmington, N.C., and Margaret Sterling of Somers Point, N.J.; a brother, Robert (Adelaide) Urquhart of Massachusetts; a sister, Sue (Nelson) Shutes of Honor; 16 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, James F. Sterling, on June 4, 1999, and a son, Robert Sterling, in 1991.
Memorial services are being planned for a later date at the First Presbyterian Church in Traverse City.
Arrangements are by Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids.
