Obituaries
GROVER C. CASON, 85, of Grayling, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, at Mercy Manor in Grayling.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Sorenson Funeral Home, McEvers Chapel in Grayling. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Grayling.
ROBERT W. HAUSDING, 83, of Grayling and formerly of Leelanau County, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 1999.
No services are planned. Arrangements were handled by Orr Funeral Home in Mio.
KENNETH J. KEWAGSHKEN, 44, of Traverse City, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Traverse City Chapel of Covell Funeral Homes. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. A full obituary will appear in Saturday's edition of the Record-Eagle.
FRED EDWARD KROLIKOWSKI, 74, of Grayling, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, at his home. He was born May 2, 1925.
A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will be held in the spring in Evergreen Park, Ill. Arrangements were handled by Sorenson Funeral Home, McEvers Chapel, Grayling.
ADAM T. RUSCHKEWICZ, 77, of Manistee, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 1999, at West Shore Hospital.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Herbert Funeral Home in Manistee. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
ROBERT E. SNIDER, 67, of Holland and formerly of East Lake, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1999, at his home.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Herbert Funeral Home in Manistee. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Arlene Block
Died November 10, 1999
KALAMAZOO - Arlene Block, 77, of Kalamazoo and formerly of Traverse City, died Wednesday at Bronson Methodist Hospital.
Born Dec. 28, 1921, in Gratiot County, she was the daughter of Claude O. and Nellie E. (Megineley) Way.
Arlene was a 1939 graduate of Ithaca High School. She worked as an occupational therapist at the Traverse City State Hospital from 1967 to 1983. She owned and operated her own craft store called A Li'l Bit Country. After her retirement, she worked at Erickson's World of Crafts where she taught craft classes.
She is survived by two sons, Gerald Sibley of Kenai, Ark., and Claude (Judy) Sibley of Kalamazoo; five grandsons; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, James Orvalle Way of Omak, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rayfield Block; and a sister, Lula Way.
The family will be present to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the Traverse City Chapel of Covell Funeral Homes. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be directed to American Diabetes Association.

Randy Walter Heinz
Died November 10, 1999
INTERLOCHEN - Randy Walter Heinz, 39, of Interlochen, died Wednesday at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Born March 30, 1960, in Manistique, he was the son of Richard James and Myrna Lou (Peterson) Heinz. On June 29, 1991, in Traverse City, he married the former Jennifer L. Allen.
Randy's first and foremost priority was his family. He moved to this area in 1976 coming from Mt. Clemens. He was a carpenter at Chaney Creek Construction and enjoyed all types of sports. He was involved in coaching little league and women's softball and was also a collector of sports cards. Randy was a member of Inland Baptist Church where he was a Sunday school teacher and former Sunday school superintendent. He also enjoyed doing jail ministry at Benzie County Jail. An avid reader, he was easy going and had time for everyone.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; children, James, Jonathan, Elizabeth and Ryan - all of the Interlochen area; parents, Richard and Myrna Heinz of Beulah; brothers and sisters, Rick (Patty) Heinz of Interlochen, Wendy (Duane) Eickenroth of Beulah, Mike (Shelley) Heinz of Petoskey, Orla (Jim) Frost of Interlochen; Cara (Doug) Fries of Beulah, Eric (Joanna) Heinz of Interlochen and Corey Heinz of Beulah; maternal grandmother, Orletta Peterson of Gulliver; mother and father-in-law, Linda and Rick Roller of Grand Rapids; three sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter Peterson and Girard and Mary Heinz.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home in Traverse City. Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday at Inland Baptist Church with Pastor Butch McCrimmon officiating. Burial will be in Inland Township Cemetery.
