Obituaries
TOM E. EITNIEAR, 44, of Traverse City, passed away Sunday, Nov. 21, 1999.
Arrangements are pending at the Traverse City Chapel of Covell Funeral Homes.
IRENE R. 'DOLLY' MICOL, 37, of Kalkaska, died Friday, Nov. 19, 1999, in Traverse City, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. She was born July 24, 1962.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Kalkaska.
ELNETTA L. OLENICZAK, 83, of Manistee, died Saturday morning, Nov. 20, 1999, at West Shore Hospital in Manistee.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Herbert Funeral Home in Manistee. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Good Shepard Lutheran Church in Manistee.
HELEN MARIE WILLIAMS, 71, of Elk Rapids, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 1999, at her home.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church of Elk Rapids. A full obituary will appear in the Tuesday Record-Eagle. Arrangements are by the Elk Rapids Chapel of Covell Funeral Homes.
Larry LeRoy Hency
Died November 20, 1999
KINGSLEY - Larry LeRoy Hency, 61, died Saturday at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Born July 29, 1938, in Kingsley, he was the son of Milo and Velma (Riley) Hency.
A lifelong resident of Kingsley, Larry was a truck driver.
Survivors include three children, Tammy Reamer of Traverse City, Randy Hency of Kingsley, and Jack (Laurie) Hency of Kingsley; and five grandchildren.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Earl.
The family will greet friends from 1 p.m. Wednesday until time of the memorial service which will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Covell-Smith Funeral Home in Kingsley. Pastor Steve Summerfield will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
Mary Beatrice Tank
Died November 19, 1999
MESICK - Mary Beatrice Tank, 78, of Mesick, died Friday morning at Mercy Hospital in Cadillac.
Born Jan. 12, 1921, in Southpoint, Ohio, she was the daughter of John and Minnie (Ball) Sloan; they preceded her in death. She married George "Lloyd" Tank in Detroit; he died in May 1991.
Mary was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
Survivors include three sons, David L. Tank of Atlanta, Lawrence A. (Alice) Tank of Phoenix, Ariz., and Timothy E. (Pam) Tank of Mesick; three grandchildren, Sara, A.J., and Victoria Tank; and a sister, Virginia (Charles) Huff of Tampa, Fla.
Friends may visit from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Peterson Funeral Home in Cadillac.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Faith Lutheran Church; the Rev. Roger Gallert will officiate.
Interment will be in Sherman-Mesick Cemetery.
Memorial tributes may be directed to Faith Lutheran Church; envelopes are available at the funeral home.
